THE ACT

Funky backline, pulsing dance rhythms, disco - plus original Gaelic song and driving tunes. Dlù are a high-energy five-piece indie trad band from Glasgow, and one of the most respected voices of their generation.

Moilidh NicGriogair, Zach Ronan, Aidan Spiers, Andrew Grossart and Seoras Chlad take their name from the Gaelic 'dlùth' - tight-knit and close - a nod to friendships and shared roots at Glasgow Gaelic School. Proud Gaelic speakers, they keep the language alive through music that lands with lifelong trad fans and first-time listeners alike.

Debut album Moch (2022) won international radio play; follow-up Close To (2024) pushed Gaelic music into new territory. In January 2026 they sold out the 600-capacity Saint Luke's in Glasgow, with a string of singles out across 2026.
