THE ACT
Face the West are an Electro Celtic band from the Isle of Lewis, formed in 1998 rehearsing in reclaimed Harris Tweed mill buildings - their first gig a very stormy village bonfire outside Stornoway.
A lifetime of gigging behind them, the band were nominated for Live Act of the Year at the 2009 Scottish Trad Awards. They've played some of Scotland's most prestigious festivals - Hebridean Celtic, Tiree Music Festival, Barrafest, Orkney Folk Festival and Glasgow's winter festival in George Square - and as far from home as Ho Chi Minh City.
