THE ACT
Valtos are an electronic-trad duo from the Isle of Skye - Dan Docherty and Martyn MacDonald - building club-facing productions around the Gaelic song and fiddle tradition they grew up in.
Since their 2021 debut they've carved out a place across both the folk and electronic scenes, a sound that moves from festival main stages to late-night dancefloors without losing its roots. Their 2026 album The Last Light (Island Life Records) landed with a sold-out launch at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom, and in July 2026 they played a 75-minute set at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
They head out on a UK tour this December with multiple dates already sold out, before a UK and Ireland run and festival dates across the UK and Europe in 2027.
